Press on Missions

Press on Missions' vision is to equip, encourage, challenge and train local leadership to better equip them for the work of youth ministry. Upon invitation Press On teams will be assembled to travel to those organizations in need in order to accomplish this vision. In third world countries youth ministry leadership is in need of effective methods that can be implemented to help them in reaching their students and growing them in their Christian walk. Press On Missions will develop teams to help meet those needs. Local leadership will be greatly encouraged as they get to meet one on one with team members who will offer a wealth of knowledge and experience. This training and equipping of local leadership will be made possible because the Press On Missions team will be able to make its services available to local youth ministries in need at no cost.

God has an incredible sense of humor! Because we are created in His image, we too have been blessed with the gift of laughter. God gave us a sense of humor to help us make it through life. It's our sense of humor that helps us to keep things in perspective in times of discouragement and even defeat. As I look at many stories in Scripture I am reminded of God's sense of humor. Consider a few:

1. Moses is raised by the daughter of the man who decreed he was to die as a baby
2. Haman is hanged on the very gallows he built to hang an innocent man
3. Balaam is told off by his own donkey.

Can you imagine Jesus spending three years with individuals like the Apostle Peter without laughing? Let's face it, God has to have a sense of humor to put up with sinful creatures like us!
The Goal of ScripClips is to make you laugh. It attempts to look into some of those "what if" moments and even some of those "get real"situations. I hope it makes you read between the lines of each story in Scripture you read. These stories are filled with real people like you and me. In real life funny things happen.
